Daylesford organic
Daylesford organic is an original concept. it's a organic store with a restaurant and a bread bar. the design is very bright and simple, light wood, big tables. it'sthe place to be for trendy people on sunday brunch ;-)
the grocery
view from the bread bar to the store/restaurant.
I ordered as a starter the aspargus salad wich was really good, aspargus well cooked, vinaigrette balanced and tasty and what was really interstaing was the green salad that comes with. delicious leafs that i have never tried before and that I absolutly don't know what is it?????!!!
as you can imagine there's no sodas on an organic restaurant :-( but very great juices and a really interesting idea is the flavoured water, in each bottle the add a flavour, mind leaf, orange skin, cucumber slices...
I also wanted to try something that sounds really organic food and i ordered the wild rice, cranberry and quinoa salad with hazelnuts and raw tomato vinaigrette
and to finish organic scrnabled egg with organic bread and organic smoked salmon. the scrambled eggs was more than excellent. the salmon not bad but I still prefer the salmon from la maison du caviar!!!!
to conclude : Daylesford organic is a nice place to see and being seen for people living in london, for others it's a nice experience, food is not bad, price 30£ .
and it's on a really great area.
