The Ralph's is the new place to be in Paris, it's the restaurant of the new flagship store of Ralph Lauren in Saint Germain des Près. Since few months everybody is talking about it, to book is just Mission impossible... and all what you read about it makes you dream, as if it was the best american restaurant in Paris. the best burger, crab cakes, real Caesar Salad.

So since few days I'm contacting friends here and there to know if someone can make me a booking there. and then I used an Amazing strategy...I can't tell what, but something as huge as: It's Madonna PA. she's in Paris and want absolutely to try your restaurant. and from impossible Madame, what a booking for today...hahahahaha to give me a minute and then with pleasure Madame at 2 your table will be ready!!!!

So finally I was there, the restaurant is amazing, nothing to say about the design classical but elegant and sense of detail, a nice chimney and an amazing terrace for summer time...perfect.

the service also is good, the tables very well dressed and elegant. the Menu for someone who likes American food is attracting but not the prices!!!

but what about food?

the only thing that was good is the little apéritif in the previous picture. pan fried olives.

incredible prices....I was trying to calculate the ratio after eating!!!! and I was just chocked by how they can F..... people. It's abused not anymore business.

let's have a look a the food

this is supposed to be a crab cake a 22 euros, first I was shocked at that price to have just one, In US anywhere you order crab cake they come at least by 3. and this was not a crab cake but an onion pan fried kadaif cake.

what about the real caesar salad at 12 euros.

a 6 years child is able to make it. and the dressing is absolutely not a caesar salad dressing,it's just a mayonnaise dilueded with milk.

the only thing so-so was the lobster salad, even if the lobster was all most raw.

and the last" the famous Burger" the supposed best one of Paris!!!

no word to descibe it, just F.... burger not even real french fries first and then the bread as the mac do bread the coleslaw a shame and the burger.... no taste.

and for a crab cake, a lobster salad, a caesar salad, 3 burger, 2 coke and half water we paid 150 euros....

don't ever try to test it and if you have an enemy you can recommand him this restaurant and laugh when he'll be killing his self there!!!

Sorry Ralph Lauren, but keep making Clothes and Polos...and let real chefs taking care of opening restaurants.
