Lure NYC
Lure is not a famous restaurant, but if you are searching for the best cheesburger of NYC, you'll find it at Lure....
it's a bit surprising as Lure is supposed to be an oyster and fish bar but....
it's also a restaurant that is not easy to find, it's situeted on the basement of the amazing Prada concept store in Soho.
just in front the Mercer hotel.
and the entrance is like on mafia movies... you are a bit scary saying where am I going?????
but once inside you are really surprised, the place is very elegant and unique, it's designed as a boat.
At Lure they make their own bread and this is one of the burger secret. The brioche bread.
normally I always order the Lure cheeseburger directly without any starter. But last time I wanted to try the braised heart of romaine on salad caesar. it was interesting but not impressive and too much anchovies on it.
the best of the best at Lure is the Cheeseburger Lure style on a brioche bread with fried onions
inside the burger...the cooking is perfect, when you ask it medium well, you got it medium well!!!
do I recommand Lure?
yes of course.... don't hesitate a second if you are a burger lover to try the Lure cheeseburger even if it costs 16 dollars.
