La petite Maison Nice

La petite maison In Nice is one of my favorite restaurant in the french Riviera south France. It's a unique restaurant owned and managed by a unique person "Nicole Rubi"

At La petite Maison 50% of the success is the food, 25% Nicole and 25% the ambiance that is due to Nicole....

There's a restaurnat La petite maison in London but that is owned and manged by the Owner of Zuma.

I never been to the London spot, I go to Nice more often than I go to London... so I prefer to go to La petite maison in Nice and try other restaurants in London, specially japanese, italian and indian...what we lack to have in Paris.

I really like the table design in La petite maison. natural, local...in harmony with the place.

what bout food?

the food is excellent, not sophisticated at all, simple as at home... a real mediteraneen cuisine, very high quality product...perfect..

I like to start with the appetizers selection, you can choose between the 4,

6 or 10 appetizers selection.

The "Pissaladière" a Nice speciality kind of pizza with onions, olives and anchovy.

and also the " Black olives tapenade" with its croutons.

The zucchini flower tempura and its tomatoe sauce

and also the stuffed vegetables

As a starter I recommand you to choose one of those 2 salads The tuna Niçoise that is amazing, exactly how a tuna Niçoise should be

Or the purple artichokes salad that is to die for

the portion at la petite maison are big enough to stop at the salad but if after this you'd like to add something, you can share the impressive sole so fresh that it's probably coming directly from the boat to your table.

oh and I forgot to talk about the bread that comes hot and on a paper bag as if you just got it from the bread shop

The slogan of the restant is "Tous célèbres ici" that mean "all famous here" and you'll find this slogan everywhere, on the menu, the bread bag, the bill....

for the dessert I highly recommand the Tiramisu that is excellent... smooth, light and tasty.

If you are in he French Riviera, you absolutely have to try la petite maison, for the food and for the ambiance, la petite maison is the "IT" place of the French Riviera.
